Abstract

Malaria is an endemic disease and is still a public health problem in Indonesia. Based on data obtained from the Enemawira Health Center in 2015 in the working area of ​​the Enemawira Health Center there were 1097 cases, in 2016 there were 524 cases, in 2017 there were 233 cases and in 2018 there were 31 cases of positive malaria results of laboratory tests, with the typeplasmodium that isplasmodium falciparumand plasmodium  vivax. The aim of the study was to analyze the description of malaria incidence in 2015-2018 in the working area of ​​the Enemawira Health Center. This type of research is descriptive research. The sample in this study was all data on the incidence of malaria recorded by malaria officers at the Enemawira Health Center from 2015-2018, totaling 1,885 cases of malaria. The results of the analysis are that the incidence of malaria in the work area of ​​the Enemawira Public Health Center, North Tabukan District in 2015-2018, based on the month of spread, is most prevalent in January - March, and the lowest is in June - December. Based on location, the highest number of cases occurred in Bengketan village = 16.23% and the least occurred in Bowongkulu I village = 0.05% of cases. the highest number of cases based on the variable of people occurred in men = 53.95%, the rest were women = 46.05%, according to the age group the most were 15-53 years old = 37.23% and the least were in the age group 1-11 months = 4.14%. the comparison of the incidence of cases in men and women, namely in 2015 = 9.9%: 9.7%, in 2016 = 4.4%: 4.2%, in 2017 = 1.7%: 2.1% , in 2018 = 0.3% : 0.2%. The average comparison of malaria cases by sex for 4 years, ie 2015-2018 = 4.1% : 3.8%. The conclusion is the comparison of the incidence of cases in men and women, namely in 2015 = 9.9%: 9.7%, in 2016 = 4.4%: 4.2%, in 2017 = 1.7%: 2.1% , in 2018 = 0.3% : 0.2%. The average comparison of malaria cases by sex for 4 years, ie 2015-2018 = 4.1% : 3.8%. Suggestions for the Health Service and the Enemawira Health Center to conduct a comprehensive malaria survey and an entomology survey that aims to find out vector bionomics that will be useful in efforts to tackle malaria and for the community not to hang clothes in the bedroom and use insecticide-treated mosquito nets while sleeping.
