Model Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang Untuk Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Pasangan Usia Subur Di Kelurahan Pinokalan Kecamatan Ranowulu Kota Bitung

Abstract

Background: One strategy to applying Keluarga Berencana (KB) programs are with increasing the usage
of active KB participant using Long Acting Contraception Method (LACM). Most of woman have
difficulty on deciding which contraception should they use, it’s not just the limitation of available
method, but also the lack of knowledge about the requirement and safety of this method. Data from
Danowudu PHC about 2016 LACM acceptor shows that 9,81% using this method, while on Pinokalan
3,6% using this method.
Objective: This study aim to indentifying level of knowledge of reproductive couple before and after
received models about LAMC, we also analyze the effect to reproductive’s couple knowledge.
Method: This study is a quantitative analysis with Quassi-experimental using one group pretest-posttest
design. 89 sample was taken purposively with purposive sampling method. Data was analyzed using
Paired Sample T-Test with significant level α = 0,05.
Result: It was showed that reproductive couple knowledge before receiving models LACM with good
knowledge was 51,7% and after received become 64%.
Conclusion: Paired Sample t-test data shows that p-value = 0,0001< 0,05 which means that there is
significant effect of models about LAMC to level of knowledge of reproductive couple.
