Perilaku Hidup Bersih Dan Sehat (PHBS) Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Di Propinsi Sulawesi Selatan Indonesia

Abstract

 

 Covid-19 is still in the spotlight in various parts of the world, the Covid-19 phenomenon has a very large impact on people's lives, including changes in clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS). The purpose of this study was to determine the description of clean and healthy living behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic in South Sulawesi Province. This research is a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were people who lived in South Sulawesi, namely in Gowa, Jeneponto and Bulukumba regencies during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample size in this study was 195 respondents who met the inclusion criteria, namely filling out all the data contained in questionnaire form the online PHBS The sampling method in this study is purposive sampling. 

The results showed that the knowledge and attitudes of the people in Gowa Regency, Jeneponto Regency and Bulukumba Regency regarding clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) during the COVID-19 pandemic were categorized as good, with a percentage 81.5%, while the attitude of respondents related to clean and healthy living behavior. Healthy (PHBS) during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was in the good category of 59.5% and the less healthy category of 40.5%. However, community actions related to clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) of respondents are still not good where the percentage of actions in the less category is 53.8% and the good category is 46.2%. It is hoped that the public will continue to maintain health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic and improve good PHBS behavior as a form of prevention and control of COVID-19
