Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship Therapeutic Communication Dental Nurse Patient Satisfaction in Action Revocation Single Tooth Roots Remain In Hospital Dental Clinic Prof. Dr H. Aloei Saboe Gorontalo. This type of research by using a "Cross Sectional Study". The experiment was conducted in April 2014 and is located in Dental Polyclinic Hospital Prof. Dr Aloei Saboe Gorontalo. The sample in this study amounted to 53 people. The data obtained were then tabulated and analyzed using a statistical test Product Moment Correlation to see relationships Therapeutic Communication for Patient Satisfaction. The results of the analysis of test Product Moment Correlation was found that the relationship between therapeutic communication dental nurse with patient satisfaction in mind the 99% significance level (? 0.01) obtained p value = 0.002 (p <0.01) showed that there is a meaningful relationship, whereas based on the strength of the relationship between therapeutic communication with patient satisfaction showed moderate correlation (0.40 to 0.599), as seen in the value of the correlation coefficient between the two variables of 0.418, and the direction of the positive correlation, where the better therapeutic communication dental nurses, the higher patient satisfaction . Conclusion that there is a relationship between therapeutic communication Dental Nurse to patient satisfaction in the act of a single root tooth extraction remains in the dental clinic RSU Prof. Dr H.Aloei Saboe, Gorontalo.
