GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN DAN MANAJEMEN KONFLIK KEPALA RUANGAN DI RSU BETHESDA TOMOHON

Abstract

Leadership style someone has a great influence on climate and group work, conflict can lead to negative effects are serious, that cause conflict propensity scattered efforts to achieve the goals, opinions collide and cause tension and anxiety. The aimsof the research was conduced in Bethesda Public Hospital of Tomohon., using cross sectional study design. The samples consisted of the 60 nurses as respondents selected using proportional sampling method and fulfilled inclusive criteria. The instrument used to obtain the data was questionnaire. The data were analyzed using statistical analysis through cross-tabulation Chi Square test. The results of research indicate that leadership style used by room heads is a democratic leadership style, i.e. 75%, and for the conflict management is collaborative conflict management i.e. 48.4%. Based Bivariate analysis using Chi Square test it is obtained that p = 0.000 means that there are significant differences in the leadership styles of each head of the room, and for the management of conflict p = 0.138 means that there are also significant differences in conflict management for each head of the room, then the results also obtained p = 0.000, which means there is a significant relationship between the leadership styles and conflict management of room heads in Bethesda Public Hospital of Tomohon.
