SUPLEMENTASI TEPUNG TEMPE DAN TEPUNG KACANG HIJAU PADA TEPUNG BERAS SEBAGAI FORMULA MAKANAN PENDAMPING ASI (MP-ASI) TERHADAP PERUBAHAN STATUS GIZI BAYI GIZI KURANG DI KOTA MANADO
Abstract
Complementary foods occupy the largest proportion of the diet in infants , and contributed significantly to the intake of nutrients essential for the growth and development of infants. This study aims to determine Supplementation tempeh flour and green bean flour rice flour as formula feeding to changes in the nutritional status of undernourished infants in the city of Manado . This study is a quasi experimental design with one group pretest and posttest design . Samples were 30 infants aged 6-12 months underweight . Sampling with purposive sampling . Assessed treatment effects of differences in body weight measurements before and after the intervention . Bivariate data were analyzed with different test using a t-test with ? = 0.05 level . The analysis showed a highly significant difference t = -5870 , p <0.05 where the increase in the average weight gain in underweight infants after intervention was 173 g . Conclusion supplementation tempeh flour and green bean flour rice flour as the MP - ASI formula gives rise changes the average weight gain in underweight babies
