Journal GIZIDO is a Scientific Period that publishes articles from lecturers' research in the fields of nutrition, food and health. Published articles are original research articles: community nutrition, clinical nutrition, food service management, community health, public health nutrition and functional food.

PEER REVIEW PROCESS
Jurnal GIZIDO is an e-journal published by Departement of Nutrition Poltekkes Kemenkes Manado. The research article submitted to this online journal will be peer-reviewed at least 2 (two) reviewers. Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Initial Review processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to the Mitra Bebestari/ peer reviewer and will go to the next selection by Double Blind Preview Process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month for a maximum time. In the each manuscript, Mitra Bebestari/ peer reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. Final decision of articles acceptance will be made by Editors according to Reviewers comments. Mitra Bebestari/ peer reviewer that collaboration with Jurnal GIZIDO is the experts in the fields of nutrition, community of nutrition, clinical nutrition, food service management, functional food, and public health nutrition area and issues around it. They were experienced in the prestigious journal management and publication that was spread around the national and abroad.

Number 1-2 are scheduled for publication (July and December).
